Back to AADF2026 Community Day

Back to AADF2026

Performer Application | May 1-31

Community Day celebrates the diversity of our AAPI communities through dance. As an embodied practice, dance is a powerful way to express ourselves, to tell our stories, and to commune, engage, and uplift one another. This all-day event features performances held on the City Heights Performance Annex stage, facing out towards the Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park.

Local AAPI students and community artists are invited to share short dance pieces alongside cultural dance troupes, representing the broad diversity of the Asian and Pacific Islander diaspora. Cultural dance artists may also offer classes from the stage for audiences to participate in.

Dance organizations are encouraged to set-up activity/information booths alongside the other organization booths. Booth fees are waived for dance organizations who perform at Community Day. If your organization would like to have a booth, please read the AADF2026 Community Day Info & Guidelines - Organizations and fill out the organization application.
