Due to unexpected delays in the remodeling of City Heights Performance Annex, AADF2026 Community Day has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 3rd. Please check back in the coming days for more updates, including times and performers.
Community Day is collaborating with the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival for a full day of festivities. AADF performers will begin at 11am, with Mid-Autumn Moon performers coming on around 3:30pm. In addition to performances, there will be opportunities to join in the dancing, as well as all sorts of family friendly activities - mooncake making, lantern making, arts & crafts, games, bounce houses & a lantern parade!

True to its mission of cultural exchange, the school shares Indian classical art through community performances, school demonstrations, and festivals throughout the U.S. Shibani Patnaik is an Odissi dancer, choreographer, and teaching artist trained since childhood in India's classical temple dance tradition. She currently teaches at UC San Diego and has a deep passion for sharing this art form through teaching and dancing throughout North America.
